Today Riteish Deshmukh marries his sweetheart of seven years, Genelia D'Souza. Their marriage could easily have mistaken for a publicity stunt, especially because their film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya is up for release in three weeks. But this once, it is for real.
What actually happened is that Riteish and Genelia re-discovered love on the sets of Kumar Taurani's Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, directed by Mandeep Kumar. Says an insider, "Their chemistry has come across beautifully and the director had a wonderful time capturing it on screen."
Taurani, who was witness to their real and reel-life chemistry, says, "Besides playing a couple on screen, Riteish and Genelia actually got to spend a lot of time with each other on the sets. In the past, both had busy schedules and they would catch up whenever they could. However, my shoot kept them together constantly. They just couldn't get enough of each other. In fact, we just shot a wedding scene and fans thronged the sets assuming they were actually getting married. The reactions had to be seen to be believed."
Taurani adds that Tere Naal... is a romantic flick will strike a chord with the audience instantly. "The music, by Sachin-Jigar, is one of the high points of the film."
Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya is a UTV Motion Pictures and Tips Industries Pvt Ltd presentation and releases on February 24.
